Our place is on Jadunath Dey Road right in the middle of Bowbazar. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded and loud with all the traffic and people moving around all day. We are tucked into a building there, and sometimes it feels like we’re outgrowing the space with all the boxes stacked up in the corners. There is always a smell of old paper and electronics in the air. We spend most of our time staring at screens or trying to figure out why a particular machine isn't behaving. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us on our toes. The desks are always covered in cables and half-empty coffee cups. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just sit there waiting, which gives us a chance to actually talk. Bowbazar has a lot of history and we like being part of that fabric. You get all kinds of people walking through the door, from students to older folks who aren't quite sure how to use their new gadgets. We try to help them out without making things too complicated. It can be a bit chaotic on Mondays, but by Friday things usually settle down a little. It's just a regular office doing regular work for the folks around here. We just take it one day at a time.
