Star Smartguard Services is located at 3/18 Poddar Nagar. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that suits us just fine. We aren't a big city firm with a glass building; we are a local business that operates out of a regular neighborhood. The office is basically where we do our scheduling and hold our meetings. There’s usually a pot of tea going and a lot of chatter about the day's assignments. We started this because we knew we could provide a decent service without all the corporate fluff. Our staff is mostly made up of people from the nearby areas. We don't have a long manual of corporate rules, just common sense and a commitment to showing up on time. The space at 3/18 is filled with uniforms, torches, and logbooks. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on advertising; we just let our work speak for itself. If a neighbor needs help or a local business needs a guard, they just walk over and talk to us. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far. We like the personal touch of being in Poddar Nagar. You get to know the faces of the people walking by every day. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we are happy keeping it that way for the long run.
