Secured Security Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 1/8 Poddar Nagar in Jadavpur. We are right beside the South City Mall, which means the traffic outside is always a bit of a mess, especially on the weekends. Our office is a straightforward space on the ground floor. It has some filing cabinets that have seen better days and a few computers for the night shifts to log their reports. The guards come in here to pick up their uniforms or to sign their attendance sheets. You can usually find a couple of us sitting around the small table in the corner having snacks. Being so close to the mall is handy if someone needs to grab a quick lunch, but mostly we just stay busy with the phone calls coming in. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a headache for the visitors. We have a small sign outside that people sometimes miss if they aren’t looking closely. Inside, it smells like old paper and tea. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating who goes to which site for the next shift. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to do their jobs properly. Some of the staff have been here for years and know all the regulars in the building. It’s not very modern or flashy, but it works for what we need to get done every day. We usually lock up the main office late in the evening once the night shift has all been deployed.
