Ssh Delicacies Private Limited is tucked away over at Mahish Bathan, specifically at Dag No. 246. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around here, but we like the location. We focus on making food items, or delicacies as the name says, but without any of the fancy attitude you might expect. It’s just a group of us who enjoy working with food. We have a lot of equipment and ingredients lying around most of the time. The floors get swept often but there’s always something going on. Kolkata is a city that loves to eat, and being in the 700102 area puts us right where we need to be. We don't have a corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical workspace where we can actually get our hands dirty. Sometimes the recipes go perfectly, and sometimes we have to try again until they’re right. We don't really follow a strict manual for every single minute of the day. Things are a bit more relaxed than that. We just want to make sure that whatever leaves our doors is something we’d eat ourselves. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and checking boxes, but it’s what we do. We’ve been here at this address for a while now, and we plan on staying. It's a living, I suppose, and we enjoy it enough to keep coming back.
