Sr. Officer Marketing

We are based over at 68, Block-C on Bangur Avenue in Kolkata. The pincode is 700 055. If you know Kolkata, you know Bangur is a busy place. Our office for Sr. Officer Marketing is tucked away in one of the older buildings. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway is a little dim, but once you get inside, it’s all business. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of papers scattered around. Marketing in a city like this means a lot of talking and a lot of coordination. We don’t have any fancy presentation screens or posh meeting rooms. Usually, if we need to talk, we just pull up a plastic chair and sit around the main table. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving in the Kolkata humidity. There is a small window that gives us a view of the street, so we can see the yellow taxis going by all day. We keep a stack of files for every client we deal with. It’s a very manual process, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be some big global agency; we are just local folks doing marketing work from a small room in Block-C. It’s practical and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
