Spicasys.Com Private Limited operates from the 8th floor of the K-1 building in Sector-V. We are right in the Ep & Gp block which is the heart of the tech area in Saltlake. Being on the 8th floor gives us a decent view of the traffic below. The office is mostly open space with long tables and people sitting side by side. It gets pretty loud when everyone is in at once. We have a small coffee machine in the corner that breaks down once a month but we keep fixing it because we need the caffeine. The carpet has a few stains from spilled tea and the printer always seems to jam when you are in a hurry. It is just a normal office where people work hard and sometimes complain about the commute. Sector-V is always under construction so there is usually some noise of drilling or hammering from nearby. We have been here for a while and the routine is pretty set. We arrive, log in, and stay until the work is finished. There are no bean bags or game rooms here like you see in some tech startups. It is just a place with computers and desks where people come to earn a living. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the code and the data. It is practical and it works for us.
