Spectra Eye Foundation

At Spectra Eye Foundation, we spend our days looking at eyes. We are situated at 108 / 1 Jessor Road, right near the Madhyamgram Chowmatha. It is a busy area with a lot of traffic passing by all the time. Our clinic is usually full of people waiting for their eye exams or picking up new glasses. The lighting inside is kept quite bright so we can see what we are doing, but it can be a bit much if you have a headache. We have a small team here, and we all know each other’s habits by now. Sometimes the wait times get a bit long because we take our time with each person, and we know that can be frustrating for some. But usually, folks don't mind too much once they get talking to the person sitting next to them in the waiting room. We have boxes of frames and lenses tucked away in the back rooms. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Being on Jessor Road means we get a lot of walk-ins from people just passing through the Chowmatha. We just try to make sure everyone can see a bit better when they leave than when they walked in. It is honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't bother with anything flashy, just the basics of eye care. That’s enough for us.
