Spectra Eye Foundation Pvt Ltd is right here in Madhyamgram on Jessore Road. If you know the area, you know how hectic 108/1 can be with all the cars and people. Our building is a sturdy one, though it shows its age in a few spots. Inside, there is always the smell of cleaning supplies because we try to keep the floors decent. We deal with everything related to vision. Some days we are just doing basic tests, and other days it is much busier with more complex stuff. Our staff isn't wearing those fancy designer uniforms, just regular lab coats that have seen better days. We have a few old chairs in the corner that are surprisingly comfortable if you have to wait a while. The records are kept in big cabinets that sometimes stick when you try to open the drawers. It is a very local feel here. We don't have a PR team or anyone to make us look more important than we are. We are just a group of people working at 108/1 Jessore Road trying to help the folks in Madhyamgram with their sight. It gets hot in the summer and the fans hum constantly, but we are used to it. It’s just how our daily life goes at the eye foundation. We try to be helpful and keep the place running smoothly, even when it’s busy. There is always plenty to do and not enough hours.
