Soham Eye Clinic

You can find us over at Deshapriya Park in Kolkata, right on Rashbehari Avenue. We are tucked in near the Golpark Post Office, which is a landmark most people in this part of the city know well. Soham Eye Clinic isn't a massive hospital or anything, just a focused place for eyes. The street outside is always humming with activity, being such a central spot in Kolkata. Inside, we try to keep things a bit quieter for the patients. We’ve got the usual equipment you’d expect for checking vision and looking at glasses. The waiting area is often full of people reading the newspaper or chatting while they wait for their turn. Being so close to the post office means we get a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes people just pop in to ask for directions or check our timings while they’re out running errands. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how each other works. It’s a bit of an older building, so the rooms aren't huge, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the lenses and making sure the frames on display look decent. It's a lot of small tasks that fill up our day. We don’t have a fancy website or a big social media presence. We mostly rely on the fact that we’ve been here on Rashbehari Avenue for a long time. People just walk in when they need us.
