We set up Smart Planet Food Specialities Llp on the ground floor at 106/C Selimpur Road. Being on the ground floor is really great because we don’t have to deal with slow elevators or narrow stairs, and it’s very easy to move our products in and out. The address is pretty easy to spot if you’re walking down the road near the shops. Selimpur is a good neighborhood for us. There are plenty of other small businesses around. Inside our space, it’s mostly focused on the food specialities we handle. We have shelves for our samples and several desks for the admin stuff. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s just a working office. We get a lot of natural light from the front windows. People pass by all day on the sidewalk, and sometimes they peek in to see what we’re doing inside. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Smart Planet Food Specialities Llp is run by a small group of us who mostly live nearby. We don't use big corporate words to describe what we do here. We just source food items and manage the local distribution. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking long lists. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we’re always coming and going throughout the day. It’s a modest setup but it suits us perfectly. We like being part of the Selimpur Road scene. It’s honest work and we’re happy to be here every morning at our desks.
