Skillx Softwares Private Limited is based at 61/H/2 Maharshi Debendra Road in Kolkata. We are in the 700006 area, which is full of history and busy streets. Our office is just a regular room where we sit and work on our software projects. It’s definitely not a polished corporate space. There are cables everywhere and the desks are a bit cluttered with papers and mugs. The road outside is always loud with trucks and people moving goods, especially since it’s such an active part of the city. We’ve grown to like the atmosphere over time. We don’t have a receptionist or any fancy decor. When you walk in, you just see us working. We drink a lot of chai and spend most of our hours typing away. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just take that as a cue to take a break. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s a practical place to be because we are close to everything we need. We don’t go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just show up every morning and do what we can with the work we have. It’s a small, hardworking team in a very busy part of town. We just keep our heads down and get on with it without making a fuss about how we look or sound.
