Shushrusha Orthopedic Clinic

If you walk down Santoshpur Avenue, you'll find us at number 161. We are pretty close to the Uco Bank, so that’s usually how people find their way here. Being an orthopedic clinic means we see a lot of people with bandages or limping a bit. It’s a small place, really. We don't have those huge glass windows you see in the city center. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old but they do the job just fine. We spend most of our time looking at x-rays and talking to patients about their knees or backs. It can get a bit loud outside with the traffic on Santoshpur Avenue, but inside we just focus on the work. My desk is usually covered in folders and notes. We don't use much fancy software; we still like writing things down in our physical registers. It feels more real that way. Neighbors often drop by just to ask a quick question or show us a report. We’ve been in this Santoshpur spot for quite some time now. It’s a local clinic, nothing more. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during the monsoon, but we put a bucket there and keep going. It’s just how things are here. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady one for the folks living around here.
