Shri Ram Tea Co. Pvt. Ltd. is located at No-24 R.N. Mukherjee Road, specifically on the 6th road. We have a functional office space here where we manage everything. It’s not the kind of place that has a big sign out front or a lobby with a receptionist. You just come up and find us working among stacks of ledgers and sample bags. The tea business has changed a lot over the years, but we still do things the old way for the most part. We spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure the orders for the week are sorted out. There are four or five of us in here most days. The building is old and the elevators can be a bit temperamental, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy website. We just know a lot about tea and have been doing this long enough that people know where to find us. It gets a bit chaotic during the auction seasons, with samples arriving every day and the phones never stopping. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a practical, straightforward business without any of the corporate fluff. We are just a local company doing our part in the tea trade on R.N. Mukherjee Road and trying to keep our heads down and work hard.
