Shree Shyam Tea Company

Shree Shyam Tea Company is located at 106 Diamond Harbour Road. We are right near St Thomas School so we see a lot of parents and kids walking by every morning and afternoon. The road outside is one of the main ones so there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and horns. Our shop is a modest place. We don't have any big glass windows or shiny signs. We just have our tea and a place to sit. It gets dusty because of the traffic but we try to keep things tidy enough. We've been here for a good while and the neighbors know us well. Sometimes people stop in just to say hello or to ask for directions since we are such a visible landmark near the school. We spend our time packing up orders and making sure everything is ready for the customers. It’s a lot of repetitive work but we don't mind it. It’s a steady rhythm that keeps us going. We have a small back room where we store the sacks. It’s cool back there even when the sun is beating down on Diamond Harbour Road. We are just a local business trying to do our job day in and day out. Nothing more to it than that. Usually we finish up by the time the evening traffic starts to peak. It’s a busy life but it is our life and we enjoy the routine.
