You can find us on Central Road in Barrackpore. We are pretty close to the railway station, so you can hear the trains passing by all day long. This part of 24 Parganas North is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our trading business is run from a simple building. We don't have air conditioning or fancy carpets on the floors. It’s just a place to store tea and do business. Most of our work involves moving heavy crates and checking invoices to make sure everything is right. It’s physical work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired and ready to go home. We deal with all kinds of people, from local shopkeepers to those coming from further away for bulk orders. Since we are near the station, we get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. We don't spend money on brochures or big ads. People know where we are if they need tea. We’ve been here long enough that we are just part of the furniture on Central Road. The shop is a bit cluttered with samples and bags, but we know where everything is kept. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the tea gets to where it’s supposed to go. It’s not a complicated way to live, and we like it that way. No corporate talk, just tea.
