Shinjons

Our shop, Shinjons, is situated at 850 Laketown, right in Block-A. We are sitting on Jessore Road, which is a very busy part of Kolkata. If you know where the Bata showroom is, we are right beside it, which makes it easier for people to find us. Kolkata is a city that never really stops moving, and our street is no different. We have been at this location for a good number of years now. It is a simple setup without any fancy decorations or modern furniture. We just have what we need to get the daily business done. People stop by while they are out running errands or buying shoes next door. The building itself is an older one, but it works for us. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the front looks as long as everything inside is organized. It’s just a local spot where we work every day. Jessore Road can be quite a mess with the traffic and the noise, but that is just part of the experience of being here. We open the doors early and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who have known us for a long time. We don’t have a big marketing plan. We just stay here and do our job as honestly as we can. It's a simple life.
