Our company is tucked away at number 9, Baitakkhana 2nd Lane. It’s one of those narrow Kolkata lanes that has been around forever. You have to watch your step with the uneven pavement, but it’s a lively place to be. We operate from an old building that has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Tea is what we know best, and we’ve been doing this for many years now. The office is small and usually smells like a mix of old paper and fresh tea leaves. We don't have a lot of modern gadgets; we mostly rely on our experience and the relationships we’ve built over time. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking the different grades of tea. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other’s business pretty well. It’s a bit noisy with the street sounds filtering in, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We don’t try to act like a big corporation because we’re not. We’re just a family-run tea company that spends the day getting orders out. If you can find your way through the lanes of Baitakkhana, you’ll find us there, just doing our thing. We stick to what we know and try to keep things moving without making any big, fancy promises. It’s just us, the tea, and the daily grind of the city. We wouldn't want it any other way.
