Shadow Systems Llp

Shadow Systems is right in the thick of things in Burra Bazar. Our office is on the first floor at 5/C Muktaram Babu Street. If you’ve ever been to Burra Bazar in Kolkata, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can imagine. There are people everywhere, handcarts pushing through the crowds, and lots of shouting and noise. Our building is old, like most things in this part of town. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep and narrow. Once you get inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the bustle from the street below. We have a few rooms where we do our work. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at screens, which is a big contrast to the manual labor happening right outside our door. The office is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the building number carefully. Living and working in the 700007 area means you get used to the chaos. We like being in the heart of the city, even if it’s a bit messy and loud. It feels like we are part of the real history of Kolkata. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the wall. We just come in, do our work, and head home.
