We run the lab over at No. 10 Bhupen Bose Avenue. It's a busy street, so there's always noise outside, but inside we keep things pretty quiet and focused. People come to us for blood work and various tests. It's serious business, so we try to be quick with the paperwork. Nobody likes waiting around in a lab, we get that. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. The technicians here have seen just about everything. We aren't a giant hospital, just a private center trying to get results back to people so they can figure out their next steps. The equipment takes up most of the space. It’s not the most exciting place to visit, but we try to make it as easy as possible. Sometimes the printer acts up or the waiting room gets a bit crowded on Monday mornings. We just do our best to keep things moving. We chose Bhupen Bose Avenue because it’s easy for folks to get to by bus or walking. Most of our day is spent looking at samples and typing up reports. It’s meticulous work, but it’s important to the families who come through our doors. We just stay focused on the vials and the data. That’s our day-to-day. We keep our coffee mugs on the side table and try to keep our spirits up even when the workload gets a bit heavy. It is just the way we work here.
