Our office is located at 18 Shibtola Lane in Kolkata. It's one of those narrow streets where you have to be careful when cars pass by, but it has a lot of character. Seafy Web Solutions Private Limited has been operating from this little corner of West Bengal for some time now. Inside, it's mostly just a bunch of workstations and people focused on their screens. We do a lot of web stuff—building sites, fixing errors, and making sure things look right on phones and computers. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us who actually care about getting the job done properly. The humidity in Kolkata can be a real pain for the servers, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything stays cool. Most days are pretty similar; we come in, check our emails, and start coding. There’s a lot of tea drinking involved, especially in the afternoons when everyone starts feeling a bit tired. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted everywhere. We just want to make sure the websites we build actually work for the people who pay us. It's a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. Living and working in the 700015 area means we're close to everything, which is handy when we need to run out for supplies or just need a change of scenery.
