Satyam Creations Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away inside the Warsi Corporation Compound at 5 Hide Road. If you know Hide Road, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the trucks and warehouses. Finding our unit takes a minute the first time. We spend our days inside this compound working on various projects. It’s a pretty industrial setting, so it isn't the quietest place to be. There is always the sound of machinery or someone shouting across the yard. Our space is mostly taken up by workstations and materials. We have a small office corner, but most of the action happens on the main floor. The light isn't great in the mornings, so we have to use a lot of lamps. We started out small and haven't really felt the need to move to a fancier place. This compound works for us. We handle the creation side of things, which means a lot of measuring, cutting, and assembling. Sometimes things break and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a machine instead of finishing an order. That is just part of the deal. We know the other business owners in the compound, and we often borrow tools or help each other out with deliveries. It feels like a small community in here despite the grit. We just keep working away at it, making sure we stay on top of the pile and get things finished.
