Our shop is located at 769 Jessore Road, right in the Green Park area of Lake Town. Satcom Elektronics Pvt Ltd has been around this part of Kolkata for a good number of years. We handle all sorts of electronic stuff here. It's usually pretty busy with the traffic outside on Jessore Road, so it can get a bit loud during the day. We aren't one of those big fancy showrooms you see in the malls. It's more of a practical space where we keep our parts and tools. Most of our day is spent fixing things or dealing with suppliers. The staff here consists of people who have been working with circuits and boards for a long time. We know the local area well and many of our regulars are from the surrounding blocks in 700055. Sometimes things get a bit messy in the back room when we have a lot of orders coming in at once, but we manage. We don't spend much time on fancy advertisements because we’re busy with the actual work. If you walk past Green Park, you'll probably see us. We keep pretty standard hours and just try to do a solid job on whatever comes across the workbench. It’s a simple operation, really. Just a bunch of guys working with electronics and trying to keep everything running smoothly for the people who rely on us. We've seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood, but we stay put.
