Alumnus Software Ltd.

Alumnus Software Ltd. is over in Infinity Tower-II in Sector-V, Salt Lake. It’s a big building, but we’re just one part of it. We’ve been working out of this space for quite a while. Sector-V is always full of people rushing around, but inside our office, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We write code and build software. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking and occasionally arguing about the best way to solve a bug. We have some decent views of the city from up here, which is a nice break from looking at the monitors all day. The office layout is pretty standard, with rows of desks and a small kitchen area where the microwave is always in use. We aren't the kind of place with bean bags or ping-pong tables. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Most of the team has been here for years, so we all know each other’s habits. It’s a professional setup but we don't act like robots. We talk about regular stuff while we work. Salt Lake can be a pain to get to with the traffic, but once we’re in, it’s fine. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. We’d rather just show that the software works and call it a day.
