Salt Lake Eye Foundation

We are located at IA-173 in Salt Lake. The Salt Lake Eye Foundation is a quiet sort of place compared to the main city. Being in the IA block means it’s a bit more residential, so you don't have the same level of heavy truck noise you get elsewhere. We focus on eyes, obviously. The office isn't huge, but we have the equipment we need set up in the back rooms. Most of us have worked here long enough to know the layout by heart. The waiting area has a few plants that someone remembers to water every other day. We spend a lot of time looking at charts and helping people figure out their prescriptions. It’s a lot of fine-tuned work, so the staff has to be patient. Some days the phone rings non-stop, and other days it’s just the sound of the air conditioner humming. We don't have a big corporate board or anything; it’s just the team here doing the daily tasks. The paperwork can be a bit of a headache, especially on Mondays when things pile up. We usually have our lunch together in the small break room. It’s a simple setup. We are just here to do the job and help people see a bit better before they head back home. Salt Lake is a nice area for this kind of work.
