If you head over to J A - 173 in Salt Lake, that’s where you’ll find our eye foundation. We’ve been set up here for a while, dealing with all sorts of eye problems that people bring in. Salt Lake is a nice area, though parking can be a bit of a headache on some afternoons. Inside the office, we’ve got the usual testing equipment and chairs for waiting. It’s a local spot, so you often see neighbors bumping into each other in the waiting room. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were here. Our days are filled with checking charts, cleaning lenses, and making sure the lights are working right for the exams. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work. Sometimes the computer system acts up and we have to do things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper, but we get through it. The staff is just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know who likes their tea with extra sugar and who’s always five minutes late for their appointment. It’s just a normal part of the Salt Lake community, sitting there at J A - 173, helping folks see a little bit clearer than they did when they walked in the door.
