S. L. B. Trades

S. L. B. Trades is based at 50/6, Shyamnagar Road. It’s a fairly quiet stretch compared to the main junctions, which we really appreciate. The building is an older one, the kind with thick walls that stay a bit cooler in the summer heat. We’ve been operating out of this address for a long while now. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls or modern art. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our records and handle the trading work. There’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere in the back room. We aren't big on ceremony here. If someone comes by to talk, we just pull up a spare chair and sit down. The neighborhood is mostly residential with a few other small businesses scattered around the area. It feels very local and friendly. We know the people at the tea stall and the small stationery shop nearby. We don't really do any big promotions or advertising. Most people find us through a friend or a long-time business contact. We just try to keep our head down and get the work done properly. The furniture is a bit mismatched and old, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day at the desk. We don't have a big mission statement hanging on the wall. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings for us. It’s a simple way of working.
