Rupai Tea Estate Llp has its main office at Central Plaza. We are on the 3rd Floor at 41 B.B. Ganguly Street. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has a lot of character. From our windows, the busy street is always visible. We deal with tea, so a faint smell of dried leaves usually hangs in the air. Time is mostly spent talking to the estates and making sure the shipments are going where they need to go. Phone calls and emails take up most of the day. The office isn't very large. Some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days make up most of the furniture. It's a practical place without fancy carpets or modern art. Mostly, we just have maps and calendars on the walls. People come in and out constantly. Chaos happens sometimes with all the paperwork lying around. B.B. Ganguly Street is always crowded, making the morning commute a bit of a struggle. But once you're inside, it's just the team doing the work. This office has been our base for a while now. Knowing the tea business well is what we do, and this is where it all happens. Advertising isn't something we spend much on. Most people who know us just come by the 3rd floor if they need to talk. It’s a steady rhythm of work until we close for the night.
