You can find us right across from Mani Towers on Diamond Harbour Road. It’s a busy area in Taratala, always full of trucks and cars going by. We’ve been operating out of this office for quite a while. Our work involves a lot of tea, mostly dealing with the gardens and getting the leaves where they need to go. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, to be honest. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and piles of files. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. We handle the logistics of the industry from here. It’s not always easy, especially when the rains affect the harvests. We spend a lot of time talking to the suppliers and checking on the quality of what's coming in. People think the tea business is quiet, but it’s actually quite hectic. We drink a lot of tea ourselves while we work, usually just plain without much fuss. The location is good because it’s easy for people to find us, even with all the traffic. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New buildings go up, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It keeps us busy from morning till evening. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small plate on the door that's seen better days. That's enough for us.
