Roy Informatics Private Limited is located way out in Village Paira. The post office is Simlabandh and we are under the Hirbandh police station. It is a very different setting compared to the big offices in Kolkata. Out here, things move at a slower pace. We have our small office at N0097 in the village. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't from the area. We do informatics work, which mostly means handling data and information for various needs. The office is simple and reflects the village life around us. We don't have high-speed elevators or fancy glass partitions. It’s just a room with some computers and some very dedicated people from the local area. Sometimes the power is a bit unpredictable, so we’ve had to learn to work around that. Being in Paira means we know everyone around us. It’s a community. We started this informatics business because we wanted to work closer to home rather than moving to the big city. The air is cleaner here, even if the tech infrastructure isn't as modern as what you’d find in a city skyscraper. We don't spend money on marketing or looking polished. We just sit at our desks, do the data work, and enjoy the quiet surroundings of Simlabandh. It’s an honest way to make a living in the countryside. There are only a few of us here, and we usually have tea together.
