Rishabh Plastic

Rishabh Plastic is situated at 10, Portuguese Church Street, which is right in the middle of the Barabazar chaos. If you know Barabazar, you know how tight the lanes are and how much energy is in the air every single day. We’ve been operating out of this old building for a long time. The street is named after the church, but these days it’s mostly just trucks, carts, and people carrying heavy loads on their shoulders. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack our plastic goods. It’s a bit of a squeeze when new stock arrives, but we manage somehow. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We just sell plastic items to whoever needs them, from local shopkeepers to folks passing through the market. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with receipts, but it’s our space. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for customers or talk to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear, so we end up shouting a bit to be understood. That’s just life in this part of town. We don't have a website or fancy ads. Most people just know we are here at number 10. It’s a steady way to live, and we like being part of the history of this old market area. It’s busy, messy, and exactly where we belong.
