Our workplace is situated in the Salt Lake Electronic Complex, which is a pretty well-known spot for anyone doing tech work in Kolkata. Rebaca Consultants (P) Ltd. sits at J-5 in Block EP and GP. It’s a busy area, especially during the morning rush when everyone is heading to their respective blocks. Inside our office, things are usually focused. We do a lot of consulting work, so there’s a fair amount of debating over technical specs and project timelines. It’s not a silent library, but it’s not a party either. We have these rows of desks where people are deep into their screens. The building has that typical Salt Lake feel—solid and functional. We’ve been here for a while, seeing the neighborhood change as more glass buildings go up around us. Our lunch breaks are often spent at the local stalls nearby, grabbing some quick food before heading back to the grind. It is a place where experience matters more than looking trendy. We don't have a marketing team writing fancy slogans for the walls. We just have engineers and consultants who know their stuff. Sometimes the lifts are slow, and the air conditioning can be a bit moody, but we’re used to it. It’s just how things are. We focus on the projects at hand and making sure our clients get what they asked for without any unnecessary drama. We are just a local team doing professional work day in and day out.
