Trizend Software

Trizend Software is up on Level 8 of Rdb Boulevard at Plot K-1 Sector V. Being in Salt Lake City, especially in Block Ep Gp, means we are surrounded by a lot of other offices and food stalls. Getting up to the eighth floor can be a bit of a wait when the elevators are full in the morning. Once you get inside, it’s just a bunch of people at their laptops. We don’t have a big corporate feel here. There are snacks on the tables and some of the chairs don't match. We work on code all day, and sometimes the bugs take a lot longer to fix than we thought they would. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the street far below where the buses are crawling along. We tend to stay late, and by then the office is quiet except for the sound of typing. The air conditioning is usually a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even in the middle of summer. We order a lot of food from the stalls downstairs because nobody has time to cook much. It’s a regular software job with a lot of coffee and late nights. We don’t have fancy slogans. We just sit down, open our computers, and try to get the software to do what it’s supposed to do before the deadline hits us. It’s just how life is in this part of town.
