R.D. Tea Limited

We are located at 4 Middleton Street, which is one of those old parts of the city that still has a bit of character left. R.D. Tea Limited has its office in a building that has seen many years go by. The ceilings are high and the windows are large, though they can be a bit rattling when a heavy truck passes by. Middleton Street is usually busy, but it has a different feel than the newer parts of town. Our office is filled with the faint scent of tea, which isn’t surprising given what we do. We have rows of old wooden desks and shelves packed with samples and files. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if we don't talk about it much. Most of the staff have been with us for a long time, so we all know each other's habits and how everyone likes their tea. It’s a steady pace of work. We handle a lot of paperwork and speak to people all over the region throughout the day. The building doesn't have the best cooling, so in the summer we have plenty of fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a very traditional way of working, I suppose. We don’t use a lot of fancy software or modern gadgets unless we really have to. It’s just about getting the shipments organized and the accounts balanced by the end of the week.
