Ranirhat Tea Private Limited

Our office is located in the Hindusthan Buildings at 4 Chittaranjan Avenue. This is a very old and well-known part of Kolkata, and you can feel the history of the building as soon as you walk in. Being on CR Avenue means there is a constant drone of traffic and horns outside our windows. We are in the tea business, which is a big part of the culture in this city. This space is where we do our tea tasting and handle all the administrative work. It is a fairly small office, but it fits everything we need like our desks and shelves full of tea samples from different gardens. Sometimes the smell of the dry leaves is the first thing you notice when you open the door. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and trying to decide which tea batches are the best ones to buy. The elevators in this old building have a mind of their own and often stop working, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we would like. We are not a massive corporate entity with a polished image. We are just people who know about tea and work out of an old office filled with files and samples. We do not have a marketing department or any fancy brochures. We just focus on the quality of the leaves and keeping our business running.
