We’re located at 131 Chittaranjan Avenue, right on the second floor in Room 51. It’s near Mohd. Ali Park, so there’s always something happening outside. If you know this part of Kolkata, you know the buildings have a lot of character and the streets are always packed with people and yellow taxis. Rance Computer Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this room for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a traditional setup, with wooden shelves and plenty of old-school filing. We deal with all sorts of computer hardware and software issues. Sometimes the hallway is a bit dark and the stairs are steep, but once you get into Room 51, it’s all business. We have people coming in from all over the city because they know we’ve been here for years. We don't do much in the way of fancy marketing or social media. Most of our work comes from people who have been using us for a decade or more. We just sit at our desks, answer the phones, and try to figure out why someone’s server is acting up. It can get pretty warm in the summer, but the fans keep us going. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We value the relationships we’ve built with the local shops and offices around CR Avenue. It’s just how we do things here.
