Ramkrishna Tea House

Ramkrishna Tea House is our small spot in Salt Lake, Kolkata. We are at Ae-350 in Sector-1. If you are familiar with the area, we are quite close to Kwality More. Our pincode is 700064. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a place where people come to get their tea leaves and maybe a few other small things. Kolkata is a city that loves its tea, so we stay pretty busy. The shop isn't huge. It has that smell of dried tea leaves that stays in your clothes. We don't have fancy furniture or air conditioning. It’s just a basic shop with wooden counters and old shelves. We take pride in just being here every day. People stop by on their way to work or while they are out for a walk. We hear a lot of stories from the locals who have lived in Sector-1 for decades. We aren't trying to be a big cafe or anything. We are just a tea house. We handle the orders one by one. Sometimes the rain in Kolkata makes it hard for people to come out, but we stay open anyway. We don't have a marketing team or a social media page. We just have our sign and our reputation in the neighborhood. It’s a modest way to make a living, and we like the routine of it. We just keep the tea ready.
