You’ll find Raj & Sons at 414 Rabindra Sarani. This is an old part of the city and the street is always packed with people, carts, and rickshaws. My father started this place, and now I’m here running things with my brothers. We’ve been at this same address for a very long time. The building itself is quite old, with high ceilings and walls that have seen many years. We sell a variety of goods depending on what people are asking for these days. It’s a family-run business through and through. We don't really have a boss; we all just pitch in and do what’s necessary. Some days are slow and we sit on the wooden stools out front watching the traffic go by. Other days, we barely have time to breathe because there are so many customers asking for things at once. We don't bother much with fancy displays. The goods are mostly in boxes or on the shelves where we can reach them quickly. People know us in this neighborhood as the place where you get a fair deal without any nonsense. It’s a bit dusty and loud because of the main road, but that’s just life in this part of town. We keep things basic and honest. If we don’t have something, we’ll tell you straight. It's how we’ve always done business here on Rabindra Sarani.
