Anima Enterprise

Anima Enterprise is located right near the No. 2 Rail Gata in Dum Dum Cantt. If you know this area, you know how loud the trains can get throughout the day and night. We are sitting at No. 6 H.R. Mukherjee Road. It is a small place, really. We have been here for a while now, and most people in the neighborhood know us just by sight. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with paperwork and whatever stock we have coming in that week. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not looking for it, but the locals around here give pretty good directions. Most of our mornings start with opening up the metal shutters and dusting off the front counter. The traffic near the railway crossing can be a total nightmare in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We handle a bit of everything here. It is just a few of us working. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of inventory to count or things to organize. We do not really have a fancy waiting area or anything like that for visitors. Just some old wooden chairs and a ceiling fan that squeaks a little bit when it’s on high. Working so close to the station means there is always someone walking by the door. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some new shops opened up nearby, but we are still here at the same spot. It is a simple setup and we do not try to be anything we are not. We are just a local business trying to keep things moving.
