Quodroid Software Development Private Limited is based in Shibpur, Howrah. We are located at 56/9, Rammohan Mukherjee Lane. The office is actually in a flat, specifically Flat No-C on the second floor of the building owned by Rammani Sarkar. Getting here can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the narrow lanes of Shibpur, but once you find Rammohan Mukherjee Lane, it’s not too bad. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open, though the sounds of the neighborhood come right in with it. We’ve got our computers set up in the main room of the flat. It’s a bit of a makeshift setup, with extension cords running across the rug and different types of chairs around the table. We don't have a professional decorator or anything; we just put things where they fit. There’s a small kitchen area where we make tea and sometimes heat up our lunch. It feels more like a home than an office, which is fine by us. We spend most of our day coding and talking through various problems we run into. Rammani Sarkar’s building is an older one, so it has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We’ve been working out of this flat for a while now and it suits our needs for developing software without the high costs of a city office. It’s a quiet life here.
