Questam India Software P Ltd is located on the second floor of 7 39 D Bejoygarh in Kolkata. Being on the second floor means we’re a little bit removed from the noise of the street, but we still hear the horns and the general bustle of the city. We do software work here, which involves a lot of sitting in front of screens and typing. It’s not the most glamorous job, but we enjoy the problem-solving part of it. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment and cables everywhere, but it works for us. We aren’t a big tech giant; we’re just a local team trying to build software that actually works for people. Bejoygarh is a good area with a lot of character. We often go out for tea breaks nearby. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and see us working. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to our clients because we think it’s better to just explain things simply. Sometimes the heat in Kolkata gets to be a lot, especially in the afternoons, but we keep the AC running and keep going. It’s a steady pace of work. We just take one project at a time and try to get the code right before we move on to the next thing on the list.
