We are based in Chinar Tower, which is at 13 Chinar Park in the Teghoria area of Kolkata. Our office is Flat No. 1B on the first floor, so you don't have to go very far up the stairs when you come inside. Being near Chinar Park means it’s always busy outside with traffic and people, but once you’re inside the building, it’s much quieter. We use this space to handle all our technology services and projects. It’s a standard flat that we’ve converted into an office, so it has a very lived-in feel to it. There are desks squeezed into the rooms and wires running along the baseboards. We don’t have a big reception area or a coffee machine that makes fancy drinks; we just have a kettle and some biscuits in the corner for when we get hungry. Most days we are just here working on software or talking to people about their technical problems over the phone. The lighting isn't always great, but it’s enough for us to see our screens clearly. We like being in this part of Kolkata because it’s easy for us to get around when we need to. It’s a practical workspace for a small team like ours. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or official; we just like getting the job done and heading home at the end of the day like everyone else in the Teghoria neighborhood.
