Premier S Tea Ltd

We are tucked away in Talbagan, over in the Purbaputiary area of Kolkata. Our address is 115A, and it’s a fairly easy place to find if you know the neighborhood. The building is an older one, typical for this part of the city, with a lot of character and maybe a few cracks in the plaster. We deal with tea, so there is usually a faint smell of dried leaves hanging in the air, which is quite pleasant. It’s not a high-tech facility by any means. We have some heavy desks, a few old-school scales, and plenty of storage space for the bags. The floors are concrete and can get a bit cold in the winter months. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of small details. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We mostly just rely on the people we’ve known for years. The street outside is always busy with people and rickshaws, which gives the place a lot of energy. We have a small corner where we brew our own tea to taste-test, and that’s usually where we end up talking about our day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Kolkata. We just like what we do and we like being in this part of town. It’s a simple business run by people who care about the work.
