We are based here in Kolkata, working out of our office every day. It’s mostly about insurance and paperwork, which isn't the most exciting thing to talk about, but it’s what we do. People come in with questions about their policies or needing help with a claim, and we sit down and try to figure it out together. The phones ring quite a bit, and there’s always someone looking for a specific form. We have a small kitchen area where we grab tea and talk about the weekend before getting back to the spreadsheets. It gets a bit hectic towards the end of the month, but that’s normal for this kind of job. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything; we just want to make sure the records are right and the clients get their answers. The office layout is pretty standard, some desks, some chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. Sometimes the air conditioner is too cold, and someone is always complaining about it. It’s a regular workplace with regular people doing their jobs. We’ve been in Kolkata for a while, and we know the neighborhood well enough. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the pile of papers on the desk. This place has seen a lot of people come and go, but the work remains pretty much the same.
