Shree Shyam Investments

Shree Shyam Investments is run out of H. No. 29 in Lakshmi Narayan Colony, which is over in Ward No. 5 of Barasat. It’s basically a home office setup. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know the people who live here. We help people with their savings and where they might want to put their money. It’s not like those big banks in the city with marble floors. Here, we sit in a simple room and talk about things like insurance or small savings plans. People in Nabapally work hard for their money, and they just want someone they can trust to give them straight answers. We don’t use big financial words that no one understands. We just explain how things work in plain English or the local language. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to ask a quick question about a form they received. We keep our files organized, but the desk usually has a few tea cups on it by the end of the day. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have any fancy signs outside, just the house number and our name. Most of the folks we help are our neighbors or people we see at the market. We don’t do any big promotions. We just stay here in Barasat and do our work day by day. It’s a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us and the community.
