Pink Tree

Pink Tree is located at 113G on Matheswaritala Road, right off Govinda Khatick Road. If you know where the Calcutta Boating Club is, we are directly across from there. It's a bit of an interesting spot in the city. The shop isn't very large, but we try to make the most of the space we have. We’ve got some shelves put up and a few chairs for people to sit. Sometimes the traffic outside gets quite loud, especially with the buses going by, but we’re used to it. The name Pink Tree was just something that stuck when we started. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to run things. It’s just us doing what we do. The floors are a bit worn down from people coming and going, and we have some plants in the corner that we try to keep alive. It’s a humble setup. We see a lot of people who are on their way to the club or just passing through the area. We aren't fancy and we don't pretend to be. It’s just a small business trying to make its way in Kolkata. You can drop in and see the place for yourself if you’re ever around this part of town. We are usually here through the afternoon and into the evening. It’s a simple life here, just managing the shop and talking to whoever stops by.
