We are located in the Shantiniketan Building on 8 Camac Street. Our office is Room number 2, on the 9th floor. It’s a well-known building in a busy part of town, but our actual office is pretty modest and simple. Pavitra Software Technologies is where we spend most of our waking hours. We do software work, which sounds a lot more exciting than it actually is on a slow Tuesday afternoon. Most of the time, it's just us looking at lines of code and trying to figure out why a certain feature isn't working the way it should. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees and a human resources department. We're a small group that knows each other well. The 9th floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, but we're mostly focused on our screens and the tasks at hand. Camac Street is always buzzing with activity, and sometimes it's hard to find a place to park, but we've made it our home. We don't go for the "innovative" or "disruptive" talk you hear in commercials. We just write software that works and stays working. If a client has a problem, they call us directly and talk to the person who actually wrote the code. There’s no complicated phone menu to navigate or tickets to submit. We keep things grounded and very practical for everyone involved in the project.
