Pastel Shade Software Technology Private is tucked away at IA-287 in Sector 3 of Salt Lake city. If you’ve been to Salt Lake, you know it’s mostly blocks of houses and quiet streets. Our office is one of those places that feels more like a home than a corporate building. We are on a quiet lane where you mostly hear the birds or the occasional rickshaw passing by. We do software work, mostly coding and testing stuff. We don't have a big glass entrance or a security guard at a desk. You just ring the bell and someone comes to the door. The rooms are filled with computers and the air conditioning is always humming to keep the afternoon heat away. We’ve been here for a while now and have seen many other small businesses start up in the nearby blocks. We don't have those fancy slogans or mission statements. We just show up in the morning, log in, and work until it’s time to go home. It’s a very calm environment compared to the busy parts of Kolkata. We usually take a walk around the block during our break to stretch our legs and clear our heads. It’s a simple life for us. We aren't trying to be the next big thing; we just focus on the projects we have at hand. It’s comfortable and it works for us and the people who work here.
