Pansoft Technologies Ltd. is situated at 100-H in Block-F of New Alipore. It’s a quiet enough street, tucked away from the main noise of the bigger roads. Our office is a straightforward setup in a residential-style building, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than those big glass towers. We have a bunch of computers, some tangled wires under the desks, and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. We spend most of our time staring at screens and typing away. It’s a lot of technical work, but we try not to make it sound more complicated than it is. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees; we are just a team of people who know how to build and fix software stuff. Sometimes we stay late when a project is acting up, and you can see the lights on from the street. There’s no fancy lobby or a person at the front desk to greet you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets people in. We don’t have a lot of rules about what people wear, as long as the work gets done. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with old hardware sitting in corners and stacks of notebooks on the tables. We like it this way because it’s comfortable. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just do the work we’re hired to do and try to stay out of trouble.
