We have been set up here at 21 B Ekdalia Place in Kolkata for quite a long time now. Most of the people around this neighborhood know us as Panorama Electronics Pvt Ltd. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular shop where we deal with all sorts of electronic gadgets and repair work. Sometimes the front area gets a bit crowded with boxes and old parts, but we usually know exactly where everything is kept. We started out small and just kept going year after year. It is definitely not a corporate showroom with bright lights and polished floors. We just open up the shutters in the morning and help whoever walks in with a broken television or a need for some specific spare part. Kolkata weather can be really tough on electronic circuits, so we stay pretty busy with maintenance. We try to keep our work simple and honest. Dealing with boards and wires is what we do every single day, even if it gets a bit dusty on the workbenches. The neighborhood has seen a lot of changes since we first arrived, but we are still right here at the same spot. We do not spend much time on decorations or advertising. Most of our time goes into the actual technical work. People come in asking if we can fix things they bought a decade ago. If we can do it, we tell them straight. If it is past saving, we are honest about that too. That is just how we run things.
