Our office is up on the second floor of number 5 Amratolla Street. It’s an old building, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to them. The street downstairs is always loud and crowded with people moving goods back and forth. Up here, it’s a bit quieter but we still hear the horns honking all day. We spend most of our time at our desks or tinkering with tech hardware. It’s not a large space, but we have enough room for our computers and the spare parts we keep on hand. Sometimes the fans make more noise than they should. We started out with just a couple of us doing small jobs and it sort of grew from there. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from what we're doing. It’s practical. We handle a lot of technical stuff that comes our way. Sometimes things get messy with cables everywhere, but we know where everything is. Lunch is usually something we get from the vendors nearby. Amratolla Street has a specific smell of old paper and dust. That’s just how it is in this part of the city. We’ve been in this spot for several years now and haven't really thought about moving. The window view isn't much, just other buildings and hanging wires.
